BandJob

BandJob was a community for artists and designers in the music industry to share their work with one another. With thousands of users posting thousands of projects, an active job board, contests featuring bands like KISS, and an active forum—it was a very lively community.

I built and designed everything on the site including a custom forum, job board, and contest system. From front-end to back-end, I handled it all.

The Story So Far

I'm a 33 year old developer/designer living in Portland, Oregon. I have 15 years of experience building all sorts of internet things. I think the cool kids refer to it as a full-stack developer. For the last 8 years, I've co-founded and helped grow The Black Axe with some super rad dudes. Now I'm moving on to learn as many new skills as I can and meet more super rad people.

Rock 'Em

Rock 'Em Apparel has taken athletic accessories to another level. Creating custom socks and apparel geared towards sporting and sneaker culture.

Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd is a nationally recognized rehabilitation leader, offering a continuum of care for people with injuries, complex medical needs and physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Aligning with their mission to deliver a top-notch experience, Good Shepherd wanted a simple and convenient way to inform their patients and visitors about their facility and the surrounding city.

I created a beautiful app that puts everything patients and visitors need to know at their fingertips. Information is pulled from multiple websites and data sources to present up-to-date visiting hours, cafeteria menus, and local information, and an interactive map makes navigating Good Shepherd's impressive facility a breeze.

Westbury Friends School

Westbury Friends School needed a website that made it easy for parents of prospective students to learn about their programs, schedule a visit, and apply, all while keeping parents of current students informed and engaged.

The result was a beautiful website utilizing on-site photography, with easy-to-access information and events, and a simple application process (including taking application fees).
